How To Create And Sign Up For Events
Seeing as we've got a lot of new members and are constantly growing I thought it might be a good idea to give a quick run down on how to host or sign up to a Late Night Gamers event as some of our new members might not be aware of how to do this.
Hosting An Event
To host an event simply click on this icon on the calendar which itself is located on the left hand side of the forum. Once you have done this it will bring up a calender with something like this calendar , you then pick the date on which you wish to host your event and click on the add an event icon to the right of the date. Then enter in the game title, a brief description of the event and any relevant picture you wish to use. Once you have done this just enter the date and start time as well as the length of the event in the calendar options at the bottom of the page and then when you have done this click on send to post the event in the calendar. Once you have done this this event will appear in the calendar and fellow members will be free to sign up, it will obviously be then up to the host to update the list of participants and send friend requests to them all over XBL if applicable.
Signing Up To Events
To sign up for an event simply click on this icon on the calendar which itself is located on the left hand side of the forum. Once you have done this it will bring up a calender which looks something like this calendar Signing up for events is pretty straightforward, all you need to do is find the event you want to take part in and then click on it to bring up the event details and then you just reply to the event with a yes, no or maybe and the host will then add your name to the list of participants and send you a friend request over XBL if applicable.
