I know it's only been up a couple of months, but I'm thinking of making some small changes to the Forum banner:

• Take out the orange logo and insert the forum name across the middle of the banner.
  

• Remove Border around the banner.
  

• Remove Cdr Sheppard and replace with Lara Croft pic (above).
  

As always, I'll post up what I've done, to guage opinion before permenantly changing it.

I also need to flip some of the characters, so that the light is coming from the same side.

This is where I am at the moment...



I'm still experimenting with fonts and effects, to see which looks best.

So do I, but I'm not really happy with the logo and was playing with having the text across the middle, rather than have a 'button' logo.

I'd also like to get a better selection of characters. I found a good Wayne Rooney one from FIFA, and I'm keen to have at least one female character on the banner.

Of course we can. I'm only looking at possibilities at the moment. I'm just playing around with different characters and fonts.

I'm going to carry on posting things up in this thread for the time being, to see what people think, but I wont change the current banner for the time being.

I might look at doing one with stuff other than characters, ie cars from racing games, helicopters from Call of Duty, mixed in with the game characters.

The ones I've posted are only works in progress, and have been knocked up relatively quickly, as I'd rather be spending time gaming

I'm still getting to grips with the program, and dsiscovering new stuff all the time.

Comments and suggestions are always welcome.

I was playing around this morning updating the forum banner. I decided that FIFA should be represented, seeing as how we play it the most. What do you guys think?

Yeh, when I joined I was wondering why you had no reference to FIFA at all up there considering as it was the main game that gets played here.

That was because I couldn't find a decent FIFA render until recently. I'm no Rooney fan, but it does seem to fit in well.
